Our People

History of Practice

The practice was founded by the late John V. Lombard in 1938 and was located at Charlotte Row. His son Garrett Lombard qualified in 1963 and took over the practice. In 1980 the practice moved to newly built premises at Market Square. The late Michael Cullen joined the practice in 1988 and in 2004 the business moved to its present location in McDermott Street. Garrett Lombard retired in 2009. Garrett Fitzpatrick took over the practice in 2018 and sadly Michael Cullen passed away in the same year. Whilst the practice has continued to go from strength to strength, Michael is greatly missed by all of his remaining colleagues in Lombard Cullen & Fitzpatrick, by his clients, by all who knew him and, of course his family.
